The software upgrade will help Johnson City better facilitate, track, and manage new development within the community.
The City of Johnson City has been a valued customer of CityView using the BluePrince solution. Over the past few years, the City has seen an increase in development that has resulted in a need to improve its internal and external solutions to continue to facilitate new development. As a result, the City has taken advantage of the Harris Software for Life program to migrate from BluePrince to CityView.
Some of the challenges Johnson City has resolved with its CityView upgrade include: improved accessibility to data; better reporting; increased staff productivity to accommodate customer and work demands; alleviation of duplicate data entry due to non-integrated systems. The City wants to employ Electronic Plans Review to reduce or eliminate paper drawings.
