CityView is pleased to welcome the City of Provo, Utah as its newest customer.
In a joint effort with Harris sister company Cayenta, Provo is embarking on an 18-month implementation of a full Community Development Suite , provided by CityView, and a full Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, provided by Cayenta.
Provo is replacing its 20 year old legacy software with the updated CityView solution, which will serve to consolidate the many Community Development duties performed by Provo staff into one system, making it easier for city employees and citizens to access the services they need. The vision of the Citywide Municipal Software System project, referred to as “Provo 360,” is to provide Provo residents, businesses, students, employees, administration and visitors with a 360 degree view of the city at any time, from anywhere, and from any device.
The City will implement CityView’s Property Information, Permits & Inspections, Planning, Code Enforcement, Business & Animal Licensing, Rental Housing, Cemetery Management, Parking Permits, Cashiering, Electronic Plans, and CityView’s Portal and Mobile solutions.
Provo City is the third largest city in Utah with a population of approximately 116,000, and is nationally recognized for its quality of life and favorable business conditions. Provo is home to the two largest universities in Utah: Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University.
