Dan Gin, IT Director for the Town of Schererville, IN, which went live on CityView at the end of January, wrote in recently with compliments to CityView team members Teri Wright (Project Manager) and Shannon Karner (Implementation Specialist Team Lead):
“Things are going well here. Teri & Shannon have been fantastic to work with.”
Schererville is a town of nearly 30,000 in the upper left-most corner of Indiana; it is considered part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The Town’s slogan, as evident on its seal, is “Crossroads of the Nation,” a nickname appropriate for the Town’s history: long before Indiana ever became a state, several Indian trails intersected in Schererville that later became routes for the wagons of settlers traveling west.
Recently we covered the Village of Islamorada’s CityView upgrade. Maria T. Aguilar, Village Manager, had this to say about the new system: “ Things are going very well. I’m consistently impressed with the web portal information [ CityView Portal ]. I use that regularly to gather background information I need for code compliance issues…go live has been a success, and Village staff is pleased.”
