To meet the formidable challenge of managing a growing village, the Village of Addison decided to replace all their current systems with a best of breed community development solution that would integrate tightly with their other systems.
Key outcomes that they were looking for were maintaining and improving customer service levels; ensuring that information was collected just once; and, robust workflows that meant things weren’t falling through the cracks.
Addison joined a number of Illinois local governments in selecting CityView as their community development platform. CityView will:
Allow constituents to self-serve with the CityView Portal so that they can access their information, make payments and interact with the Village on their own schedule
Increase transparency and departmental sharing of information so that information is easy to find when it’s needed.
Eliminate double duty by capturing building and code enforcement data in the field using CityView Mobile so that it doesn’t need to be re-entered at the Village offices.
They will also implement a number of other CityView products like the CityView Microsoft Word Add-in and CityView’s Electronic Plans Review. CityView will integrate with their other systems to streamline their processes throughout.
