Additionally, the migration allows the County to offer more convenience for contractors. "We’re excited about the upcoming contractor portal, which will let contractors complete all their work online without having to drive to the office," Katie added. This will be a huge time-saver as those doing business with the County can avoid unnecessary trips.
The transition to BluePrince Cloud was smooth, with positive feedback from the team. Katie mentioned that younger employees adapted quickly due to their familiarity with digital systems.
With the cloud now in place, Newberry County is focused on further enhancing its services. Upcoming features like credit card payments through the system and text message notifications for contractors are just some of the exciting possibilities.
