May 18, 2017: VICTORIA, BC: The City of Naples, FL will implement CityView’s Community Development suite using a hosted, subscription licensing model.

Naples will implement Property Information , Permits and Inspections, Planning, Code Enforcement, and Cashiering as well as CityView’s citizen Portal, Mobile inspections solution and paperless plan review solution.

To further boost efficiencies and productivity, the City will employ a number of CityView’s integrated extensions for spatial analysis, information flow between business critical Microsoft solutions, and inspections scheduling.

Naples is a city in Collier County, Florida with a population of about 21,500. Naples is one of the wealthiest cities in the United States, with the sixth highest per capita income in America, and the second highest proportion of millionaires per capita in the U.S.

One of the key factors in the City’s selection process was that Collier County also uses CityView software, and Naples intends to integrate with the County in order to validate contractor licenses. Because many of the same contractors work with both the City and the County, the implementation of CityView Portal will aid those contractors in self-service items such as initiating code cases, applying for and paying for permits, checking permit status, requesting inspections and meetings, viewing public information regarding specific properties, and much more. Another key factor that played a role in the decision making process for Naples was seeing the benefits of CityView Workspace, which incorporates the latest in Browser technology.
