Provo

A CityView customer since 2016, the City of Provo, Utah, continues to invest in staff efficiency and its CityView platform as it transitions from CityView Desktop to our browser-based platform, Workspace.

In 2016, Provo took a fortuitous step by replacing its two-decade-old legacy software with the modern CityView solution. This technological transition streamlined a multitude of community development responsibilities handled by Provo's staff. It not only simplified processes for city employees but also enhanced accessibility for citizens seeking essential services. The implementation of "Provo 360" substantially bolstered government transparency, offering residents, businesses, students, employees, administrators, and visitors a 360-degree view of the city at any given moment.

With the move to CityView Workspace, Provo's team is set to experience the benefits of CityView’s powerful workflow solution using the latest CityView technology. Workspace will bring a number of user-centric enhancements such as simplified data entry, user assist features to highlight important data, a highly visual taskbar and a new user dashboard. With Workspace, data is emphasized through integrated maps and spatial queries so Provo's staff can focus more easily on their tasks.

Provo is the third-largest municipality in Utah with a population of 113,343. Renowned on a national scale for its high quality of life and favorable business environment, Provo is further distinguished as the home to the two largest universities in the state: Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University.

The transition to CityView Workspace marks a pivotal moment in Provo's ongoing journey towards operational excellence, enabling the City to harness the power of modern technology for the benefit of its residents and organizations.
