CityView is pleased to welcome back Tonia Spangler as an implementation specialist. 

Tonia embarked on her career journey at Collier County Growth Management, where she spent almost 20 years delving into various departments' business processes, including planning, engineering, code enforcement, licensing and building. Throughout her tenure, she devoted much of her efforts to enhancing these processes. 

Notably, in the late 2000s, she was part of Collier’s CityView implementation, overseeing the integration of CityView Desktop, Electronic Plans Review, Portal and numerous change orders as a CityView client. In 2018, Tonia seized an opportunity to expand her expertise by joining CityView directly, where she gained invaluable insights into the diverse business processes of other governmental entities and learned a lot more about the CityView product. In 2022 she joined a permitting private provider inspection group where she gained an understanding of the challenges faced by contractors managing various portal software solutions. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Tonia is deeply committed to fostering community spirit. For the past eight years, she has served as a troop leader for the Girl Scouts, nurturing the growth and leadership development of young girls. At home in Naples, Florida, Tonia finds joy in her role as a parent to five children, alongside her supportive husband. Together, they cherish their love for animals, frequently opening their home to foster cats and dogs through a local rescue until they can be placed in permanent homes.
