We are pleased to announce that the City of Jacksonville, North Carolina, has joined the CityView community! As our newest customer in the Tar Heel state, Jacksonville joins an esteemed group of nearby municipalities, including the cities of Gastonia, Lexington, Monroe and Salisbury, along with Surry County and the Town of Holly Springs.

Jacksonville is a city with a unique character, boasting a population of 72,273 and holding the title of the youngest city in the United States, with an average age of just 22.8 years. This vibrant demographic is largely due to its proximity to the United States Marine Corps' Camp Lejeune and New River Air Station, which contribute to the city's dynamic and youthful atmosphere.

In its pursuit of enhanced efficiency and service delivery, Jacksonville has chosen to implement CityView's on-premise solution. Along with CityView’s core software solutions, including building permit software, planning and zoning, code enforcement, and business licensing, Jacksonville will also leverage some of CityView's most popular extensions to further enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall experience for both staff and residents. These powerful tools will enable the City to:

• Enhance customer service: Citizens, contractors and businesses will be able to self-serve through the CityView Portal to initiate code cases, apply for permits and request inspections
• Improve paperless plan reviews: Jacksonville will revolutionize its plan review process with CityView's integrated Electronic Plans Review solution, saving time, money and the environment
• Empower inspectors in the field: CityView Mobile equips inspectors with all the information they need, including schedules, application details and inspections, directly on their mobile devices
